By accessing our website, enrolling in our courses, or utilizing our educational services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms apply to all users, including prospective students, enrolled students, and graduates of our programs.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of our services immediately.

3. Service Access Requirements

Basic technical background or equivalent experience
Commitment to program duration and schedule
Proficiency in English for technical instruction

4. Fair Usage Guidelines

We maintain fair usage policies to ensure quality educational experiences for all students. This includes reasonable limits on instructor consultation time, resource downloads, and platform access. Students who exceed fair usage guidelines may be contacted to discuss alternative solutions that meet their advanced learning needs.

Account Creation Requirements

Student accounts are created upon enrollment and course payment confirmation. You are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information and notifying us of any changes that may affect course delivery or certification.

Account Security Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities that occur under your account. We implement robust security measures, but your cooperation is essential.

Use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication when available.

Account Sharing

Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Sharing credentials violates our terms and compromises educational integrity.

Breach Notification

Immediately notify us of any suspected unauthorized access or security breaches.

Account Suspension and Termination

Suspension Conditions

Accounts may be temporarily suspended for policy violations, non-payment, or disruptive behavior. We provide advance notice when possible and work toward resolution.

Multiple Account Policies

Students are limited to one active account per program. Multiple accounts for the same individual may result in account consolidation or suspension to maintain educational integrity and fair resource allocation.

Service Availability and Modifications

Service Uptime and Maintenance

We strive to maintain 99.5% uptime for our educational platform. Scheduled maintenance is performed during off-peak hours with advance notification to minimize disruption to your learning schedule.

• Planned maintenance: Sundays 2:00-4:00 AM (IST)
• Emergency fixes: As needed with immediate notice
• Alternative access: Materials available offline during maintenance

Geographic Restrictions

Our services are primarily designed for students in Sri Lanka and the broader South Asian region. While we welcome international students, course scheduling and industry partnerships focus on the Sri Lankan data architecture market.

Service Modifications

We continuously improve our educational offerings based on industry trends and student feedback. Course content and delivery methods may be updated to maintain relevance and effectiveness.

• Curriculum updates: Quarterly technology refreshes
• Platform improvements: Monthly feature releases
• Notice period: 30 days for major changes

Feature Availability

New features and educational tools are rolled out progressively. Beta features may be available to selected students for testing and feedback before general release to all enrolled students.

Intellectual Property Rights

Content Ownership

All course materials, educational content, methodologies, and proprietary frameworks developed by DataArchitect.lk remain our intellectual property. This includes video lectures, written materials, case studies, assessment tools, and architectural methodologies.

User-Generated Content Rights

Content you create during courses, including project work, assignments, and forum contributions, remains your intellectual property. However, you grant us limited rights to use anonymized examples for educational purposes.

You retain ownership of original work, projects, and intellectual contributions created during your studies.

Educational Use License

You grant us permission to use anonymized versions of exemplary work for future educational purposes.

Privacy Protection

All personal identifiers are removed before any educational use of student work examples.

License Grants

Upon enrollment and payment confirmation, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our educational materials for personal learning purposes only.

License Limitations:

• Personal use only - no commercial redistribution permitted
• Access limited to enrollment period plus 12 months
• No modification or reverse engineering of materials
• Attribution required for any authorized academic use

Copyright Protection

All content is protected under Sri Lankan and international copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification may result in legal action and immediate termination of services.
